Max ValaVanis, CFP®:

Max was born and raised in Brevard County. Max graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a degree in business finance in only three years. Following graduation, Max joined AIG Retirement Services and dedicated his time to assisting teachers in Tallahassee and Leon County with their retirement goals. In 2020 Max returned to Brevard County, joining the family firm with his father, Jason, and mother, Lois. Steadfastly, their goal remains the same: to provide premier service and comprehensive financial planning to their clients, focusing on helping retirees and those reaching retirement. Shortly after, Max completed the rigorous 2-year education program to become a Certified Financial Planner, subsequently earning his spot as one of the youngest CFP®s in Florida.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jason ValaVanis, CFP®:

Jason is a lifetime resident of Brevard County. In the 1980s he graduated college in aerospace engineering from the University of Central Florida.  After eight years working in the space and defense industries, Jason switched careers to pursue his love for financial planning.  He was quickly hired by MetLife Securities and was made a general manager of operations in Brevard County.  By 1996 Jason earned his Certified Financial Planning (CFP) license from the College for Financial Planning and by 1999 he left MetLife Securities to start Valavanis Financial.  Not only is Jason a CFP, but he is also a Certified Senior Advisor and a licensed real estate broker.  With his wife, Lois, he has been operating Valavanis Financial since 1999 and has served hundreds of households with their investments and insurance needs.
